History Of The Australian Festival - 1997-2006

The Australian Festival was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997. From the early days of the Festival, a commitment to Australian authenticity - matched with quality and attention to detail - produced the largest Australian celebration in North America.

Over 50,000 patrons attended the Festival between 1997-2006 in Nashville, Tennessee enjoying Australian arts & culture, tourism & travel, education & immigration and business & trade - all from the Land Down Under. The Australian Festival featured 10 key areas and operated 4 premier events that provided a unique Australian experience for the whole family. 

The Festival operated between 1997-2006 at Elmington Park and Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The Festival completed it's 10th and final year of operation in 2006.
