The Australian Business Forum become a relevant focus of the Australian Festival in 2004
when the confirmation came from discussions with the Nashville Chamber
of Commerce that expanding of festival culture and business was a logical next
step to grow the festival. In 2005 the Australian Festival hosted the
ANZACC National Conference which connected key delegates from
Australia, New Zealand, and Tennessee. The festival expanded the
business concept to include a Music Business Forum in 2006 as well as
trade promotions in Wine, Food, and Travel. Business Down Under
culminated with planning and chaperoning the
Tennessee Trade Mission to Australia in June, 2006.
 Business
Down Under focused on Australia as a niche brand as well as a goodwill
banner that put Australia & Tennessee relationships front and
center.
