The 2006 Australian Expo - Showcasing Australian Business!
April 18, 2006

The Australian Expo is a key area of the Australian Festival, designed to showcase Australian business and service providers. The Australian Expo has three distinct areas – Travel Down Under, Products Down Under, and Business Down Under which are directly marketed to our core festival patrons.

Coinciding with our Australian Expo promotion we are very excited to announce a renewal of our key sponsorship with Fox 17 who will provide our event with 30 days of event advertising leading up to the festival, a week of appearances on Tennessee Mornings, and also a promotional booth at the Australian Festival. Fox 17 reaches around 850,000 households in Tennessee, Northern Alabama, and Southen Kentucky and we are very confident they will help us bring our largest attendance to this year’s event.

Besides the direct sales and marketing opportunities at the Australian Expo, participants will be promoted extensively on our core website as well as directly marketed through www.aussieexpo.com – which is designed to provide an exclusive focus directly on the Australian Expo. We expect companies that attend our event to not only reap benefit at the festival, but also gain exposure and recognition through our websites that reach Australian and American business and social networks located throughout the United States. Additionally, companies at the Australian Expo will be speaking opportunities in the Down Under Market Place which will be located right next to the expo.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 15, 16, & 17, 2006 the Australian Expo will offer festival patrons the rare opportunity to learn how the other half of the world lives and trades. From planning a dream trip of a lifetime to Australia to finding out all about our great Australian Vineyards - , the Australian Expo has it all! For kids and adults alike, our Australian merchandisers will be putting on the "cat's nines" with everything Australian ranging from tee shirts, hats, confectionary, souvenirs, stuffed animals and plenty more. Australian organizations will be on hand to show you great investment opportunities ranging from real estate to business opportunities. The Australian Expo will also be offering workshops throughout the course of the weekend to help you focus on your area of interest, whether it be property investment or immigration laws and guidelines.

The 2005 Australian Expo featured over 20 companies and organizations including the Australian Embassy, Austrade, Australian Educational International, Australian Catalogue Company, Australasian Taxation Services , AustralUS Physiotherapy, Australian American Chamber of Commerce, Barrier Reef Pools, Down Under Answers, Everything Australian, Fox 17 News, Hardy Wines, Jackaroo Imports, Red Earth Gallery, Qantas Airlines, Southern Cross Travel, Two Sisters Creation, Unibic (ANZACC Cookies), Voyages, and Walkabout Galleries.
