After a terrific evening of dining and entertainment at the Gum Trees Gala last Friday, it was time to draw the winners of the Lucky Roo Raffle. The drawing took place across the street at Select Inn, so when the call came in, emcee Shane Clohesy read the name of the 2nd prize winner of the Dell laptop computer: Neville Henry of Houston, Texas! 

Then it was time for 1st prize, a beautiful Australian-made Maton guitar. And the winner was... Toni Hogarth, also of Houston! Those Texans sure seemed lucky tonight, but the Grand Prize, a Dream Trip for Two to Australia, was still to be drawn, and this time the winner was Nashville's own Linda Schmidt of Sellers Financial Group. 

A huge congratulations to Linda and to all of the winners, and a BIG thanks to everyone who purchased a Lucky Roo ticket in support of the Nashville Kangaroos, Inc. And last but not least, many thanks to Down Under Answers and Southern Cross Travel and Tours, without whose sponsorship this great event and night could not have happened.
