Australian rock legend
Ross Wilson and young soul sensation Nessa Morgan are the featured attractions at THE premiere event for the 9th Annual Festival. Hosted by the talented and vivacious
Pru Clearwater, a Nashville resident from New South Wales, the show marks Wilson's solo U.S. performance debut! In fact, it's been over 30 years since he has performed in the states, since his early '70s days fronting
Daddy Cool, Australia's first platinum-selling rock band.
Joining Wilson for this historic occasion is Nessa Morgan, 27, the Maori-born, Australian-raised r 'n' b artist whose 2004 debut album for BMG,
Sex & Poverty, earned her critical raves and a rapidly growing fan base.
Both Wilson and Morgan will be backed by a crackerjack band of top Nashville cats, hand-picked and rehearsed by
Mark Moffatt, also from Australia and, not coincidentally, a former producer of Wilson.
The icing on this cake will be Clearwater's opening acoustic turn as she reveals yet another side of her talents following her afternoon show leading her new rock group, Pru Clearwater Band.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a genuine Australian musical superstar, a soul star in the making and a vibrant pop-rocker showing her own new musical direction.
In addition to being the main event of the 9th Annual Australian Festival, this is one of the top concert events of the year in Nashville. The show WILL sell out so true music lovers are best advised to buy tickets
