Four Emus Pre-Festival Launch in Nashville!

"Four Emus Wines -- Proof that heat and coastline can mingle with vines to create wines full of the unique, vivid flavour of Western Australia." The Nashville Kangaroos in association with Pacific Wine Partners are proud to announce a special winemaker event on Thursday, June 9, 2005 - Four Emus Wines will be presenting a winemaker dinner at Franklin's highly-rated Saffire restaurant. The price is $36 per person ($30 for Nashville Kangaroos members), with a reception at 6:30 p.m., and dinner at 7:00. There will be live music from Australian recording artist Pru Clearwater following the tasting.

Four Emus winemaker Ross Pamment will be on hand at the event to present his wines, including a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot. Ross began his winemaking career as a cellarhand in the Swan Valley, Western Australia. From there he ventured to Burgundy to undertake a vintage, and spent an additional two years "wandering the wine wilderness of Europe", reinforcing his desire to pursue a winemaking career.

Four Emus will be one of 5 premium wines that Pacific Wine Partners will be presenting at the Australian Trade Expo in September. Those wines are Hardys, Four Emus, Barossa Valley Estates, Banrock Station (all Australian) and Noblio (New Zealand). 

This will be a unique opportunity to sample these wines and enjoy a superb dinner with some fine Aussie entertainment. Saffire is located at 230 Franklin Road in Franklin. Due to limited seating you must make a reservation to attend this event - please call Saffire at 599-4995.
