Australian alternative country music artist, Anne McCue will perform at the event. McCue began her musical career as the lead guitarist of hard rock band Girl Monstar, topping the Australian independent charts and has received two ARIA nominations (Australian Grammy Awards).

Music artist, Lucinda Williams referred to McCue as “My favorite new artist…and an amazing guitarist”.

In 2001, McCue played on tour with Lucinda Williams throughout North America. She has also performed with Emmy Lou Harris, Joan Armatrading, Ben Harper and her songs have featured on television shows including “Dawson’s Creek”, “UC Undercover” and the American Independent film, “This Space Between Us”.

Singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Wayne Roland Brown has collected over 130 musical instruments from 32 countries and will perform live on the traditional Australian didgeridoo.

New Zealander and Nashville favorite, Kylie Harris will also perform. Harris has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and has shared the stage with Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, The Irish Rovers and Charley Pride.

A collection of short award winning films recently shown at the Australian Film Festival in New York will be showed at Corrobo’Roo. One of the film writers is Michael Leunig. No one looks at the world quite like Leunig. His cartoons feature in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age and have made significant contribution to Australian culture and society.

Tickets cost $30 and the price includes Australian food and complimentary wine supplied by McPherson Wines and beer by Fosters Larger. Corrobo'Roo is part of the 2002 Australian Festival.
