Join us at Legendary Belcourt
Theater on Saturday September 21 for a unique Australian Celebration.
The evening starts at 7:00 p.m. with a
complimentary McPherson Wine or Foster's Lager and Aussie tucker catered by the Australian
Bakery Cafe' of Atlanta. (Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase
throughout the evening).
At 7:30 p.m. we will be showing a series of
Award winning Australian short films direct from the Australian Film Festival in New
York, including the outstanding works and cultural comment of Michael Leunig.
At 8:30 p.m. the entertainment portion of the
evening will open with New Zealander and Nashville favorite, Kylie Harris, a recent
performer at the Grand Ole Opry, followed by the Didgeri-Donts from
Kentucky Down Under who will mesmerize you with the haunting sounds of the
didgeridoo.
Then at 9:45 p.m. the grand finale will see
Australia's amazing "Anne McCue" taking the stage. Anne is just off tour with
Lucinda Williams and has been twice nominated for the Aria Awards (the Australian
Grammy's). Anne has just released her first solo album - "Amazing Ordinary
