Bio: Angus Pryor is the First Secretary (Immigration) at the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC, and has been in the US since October 2003. In his current position, he is responsible for Australian immigration functions in the US, Mexico and Central America. His responsibilities include temporary/permanent visas and Australian citizenship processing, representation and liaison with host governments, and promotional activities relating to Australia’s ‘Careers Down Under’
program.
Prior to arriving in the US, Mr. Pryor worked in the Migration Branch in Canberra where he managed the introduction of a new parent migration visa category. He has worked for the immigration department for 15 years and has been previously posted to Fiji and undertaken short term assignments in Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. Mr. Pryor is accompanied in the US by his wife and two children. |

moved to Nashville in 1984 after a multi-faceted career in the
music business "down under." Prior to settling in
the United States, he was heavily involved with concert
promotion, publishing, producing and management in Australia
and New Zealand.
As a concert promoter, Barry toured acts such as Elton John,
Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris,
Chuck Berry, and the Eagles. He also managed and produced
Split Enz, now known as Crowded House.
Barry began his American career with the formation of Ten Ten
Management, Inc. in early 1985. His first client was Lacy J.
Dalton. That eventually led to working with Holly Dunn, who,
under Coburn's guidance, won both the ACM Award for Best New
