Aussie girl Pru Clearwater crossed the Pacific in 2002 carrying a musical palette of brilliant colors and a guitar decorated for the revolution, and has been creating dazzling songs and enchanting American audiences and artists alike since her arrival. Like Picasso, Madonna, Dylan, and The Beatles, Clearwater isn’t afraid to reinvent herself at the drop of a pick, and when she came up from Down Under, she left behind a successful career as a country singer and embraced her inner rock and roll star. Her style is a blend of psychedelic pop and revolutionary rock... and you never know what else she might have in store!

With 2 outstanding CD releases, a slew of award nominations and critical acclaim in her native Australia, Pru has emerged as one of Australia's most outstanding female performers. These are gritty infectious songs with conscience and attitude - an original blend of Sheryl Crow cool, sun-drenched rock and Beatles artistry. 

As part of giving back to the Nashville community (as well as promoting her homeland) Pru donates time, energy, and expertise to provide Australian music and arts education to children in the G'Day Mates Schools Program. Pru has recently be named as the Music Director of 2006 Australian Festival. With Pru's extensive music & production experience in Nashville she will be able to provide direction as well as pass on her years of experience to up and coming Australian talent that will be showcased at the Australian Festival. Based on her experience Pru is developing a comprehensive format for the Australian Music Business Forum that will be held as part of the Australian Festival.
